Dance

I have been dancing at Conchita Espinosa Academy since I was 4 years old. I love that I have the same amazing dance teacher and now she is also my friend. She has shown me much about the art that I love. She has also taught me a lot about myself. I have learned discipline, persistence, and integrity. With Ms. Danella, I have been able to travel to London and danced at the RADA and Pineapple Studios. We have traveled to New York and danced at the Broadway Dance Theater, at the Alvin Ailey Dance Studio, and Paul Taylor as well. I have won countless of awards as part of group and solo numbers because she is a brilliant choreographer, and an inspiration for her students. I was one of the few students who had the honor of being selected to attend the prestigious New World School of the Arts for dance. I made my decision to attend St. Brendan, and even in high school, I continue to dance with her at Conchita Espinosa Academy because it is home. I have been invited to the Joffrey Ballet Intensives and last year participated in the World Dance Intensive. I continue to dance and compete because it allows me to be me.
