Centro Mater

On February 24th, 2017, Art For Others visited Centro Mater after school center. It was the first time we had been there. Centro Mater has been serving the underprivileged children of Little Havana for 49 years. My friends and I conducted an art workshop to teach them how to do collage art just like my father does. We brought art supplies, magazines, and even goodie bags with additional art supplies for them to take home. It was a great afternoon creating and sharing with them. I know we will be back.
