NYU Camp Neuro and More...
I was selected to attend Camp Neuro at New York University. It was a great opportunity to learn from experts in neuroscience and collaborate with students from all over. I was able to learn about brain tumors, movement disorders, mental health and strokes from some of the best doctors at NYU.
As with all of our travels, my parents make sure we visit museums and plays. We were able to visit the Museum of Modern Art and The Museum of Natural History. We also visited Pratt Institute, the school of Art and Design where my father graduated from. We walked the Brooklyn Bridge and paid our respects at the 911 Memorial. I love New York and was very grateful for the experience of being there. As I look back on it, I learned that with every visit, what remains of all our story is art. It is how our history is preserved and our memories kept alive. I guess it is why I love it so much.
