The Art of Pumpkin Carving

St. Brendan has an exchange program with students from Spain and Italy. My family and I hosted Pablo Alonso, an exchange student from Spain, who stayed with us for four months. We had hosted his sister two years before. We have shared some wonderful memories and experiences together with both of them. We have been fortunate also to have visited their family in Spain. The weekend before all the Spanish students were to go back home, we wanted to show them the Art of Pumpkin Carving. We also roasted pumpkin seeds and taught them how to make s'mores. It was a great afternoon. Some even said they may start this tradition at their home too!
